DIABETES CONNECTIONS GUEST

Welcome! We’re excited you’re going to be a guest on the show! We promise to make it as easy and simple as possible. Here are a few things to keep in mind.

FOR THE INTERVIEW

  • Microphone & Headphones Setup

Ideally, you’ll have a microphone setup with wired headphones. No? That’s okay!

  • Studio Setup

Whether you’re using your computer or your phone, please make sure to use headphones with a mic. Even earbuds are better than nothing. Find a quiet room or at least a quiet space. Your car is a terrific make-shift studio (but we don’t recommend you podcast while driving).

  • Have a Wired Backup Plan

Bluetooth headphones/mic may work, but can be iffy. If that’s your preferred method, please have a wired backup plan.

  • Skype Call Connection

If you’ve provided a phone number, Stacey will call you via Skype which shows up as “unknown number” on most phones. If you’ve provided a Skype user name, please make sure your Skype program is up and running before the interview time. If you haven’t used it in a while, make a test call or two.

  • Last Minute Questions

You’ll have a few minutes to chat before the interview begins. That’s a great time to ask any last minute questions you may have. This is NOT a live interview (whew!).

AFTER THE INTERVIEW

  • Email Your Headshot

Please email a headshot or other relevant photos as a .jpg or .png file to stacey@diabetes-connections.com to be used in our episode promotion.

  • Interview Goes Live

Stacey will email you when the episode featuring your interview goes live. We very much appreciate you sharing the show with your friends and followers. We will also provide an embed code so you can play the episode directly on your own site and not lose any unique traffic.
