DIABETES CONNECTIONS GUEST
FOR THE INTERVIEW
-
Microphone & Headphones Setup
Ideally, you’ll have a microphone setup with wired headphones. No? That’s okay!
-
Studio Setup
Whether you’re using your computer or your phone, please make sure to use headphones with a mic. Even earbuds are better than nothing. Find a quiet room or at least a quiet space. Your car is a terrific make-shift studio (but we don’t recommend you podcast while driving).
-
Have a Wired Backup Plan
Bluetooth headphones/mic may work, but can be iffy. If that’s your preferred method, please have a wired backup plan.
-
How We'll Connect
Stacey uses Zencastr to contact you and record the interview. (Zencastr is NOT mobile friendly. If you're not using a laptop, please let us know in advance. We have other, easy ways to record via phone/mobile) We’ll send a direct link to your session just before the start time. You don’t need to download anything! Unless we’ve told you otherwise, it’ll be audio only. Here’s more info about how it works for you, the guest.
-
Last Minute Questions
You’ll have a few minutes to chat before the interview begins. That’s a great time to ask any last minute questions you may have. This is NOT a live interview (whew!).
